Application: YD-9-87 Anti-Corrosive Polysulfide Sealant is a two component, room-temperature vulcanized manganese dioxide sealant containing a chromate anti-corrosive agent with liquid polysulfide rubber as the main component. It is suitable for out-of-joint and wet assembly of fasteners and for sealing between laminated surfaces.

Product category: Class B, subdivided into B-1/2 and B-2, according to construction time.

Advantages: ◆ Contains chromate, good anti-corrosive properties; ◆ Good adhesion to common surfaces such as aluminum alloy, polyurethane and epoxy primer; ◆ Low solvent content; ◆ Excellent processing; ◆ Excellent resistance to mold and mildew.                                     

Usage: The proportion of base paste to vulcanizing agent is 100 to 17 (weight ratio), base paste and vulcanizing agent after full mixing in proportion is a uniform paste with uniform color.
